Perla School owes much of its legacy to Damle Vigneshwara Bhat from Inguda, who served as a dedicated School Teacher and Head Master from 1963 to 1995. His unwavering commitment to education and the welfare of students left an indelible mark on the community.

A Lone Teacher for 23 Years

From 1963 to 1986, Damle Vigneshwara Bhat was the only teacher at Perla School. For 23 long years, he single-handedly managed the academic, administrative, and extracurricular activities of the school. His tireless efforts ensured that generations of students received quality education despite the limited resources.

Championing Student Welfare

During 1992 to 1998, the government initiated a program to provide milk to all students. However, due to insufficient staff to manage this program, Damle Vigneshwara Bhat went above and beyond by involving his own family to help distribute the milk. Every day at 10:30 AM, students would walk just 100 meters from the school to his home to receive their milk. His selfless dedication ensured that the students received proper nutrition, reflecting his genuine care for their well-being.

Damle Vigneshwara Bhat, Inguda was the School Teacher/Head Marste in Perla School during period of 1963 to 1995. He was the only one teacher in the school for a period of 23 years till 1986. During the period of 1992-1998 the school was providing milk for all the students by the government. But there was no sufficient staff for maintaining all these things, that time he was provided milk supplement using his own family member for help. Everyday 10.30 am all the students were going to his home for getting the milk (only 100 mtr distance from school)
He is a great teacher and a builder of many students life.
